The Belgian Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) has issued a warning against Levels Socials, stating that the company is offering investment services in Belgium without the required authorisation.
According to the FSMA, Levels Socials is not authorised to provide investment services in Belgium. The regulator strongly advises the public not to respond to any financial service offers made by the company or transfer funds to any bank accounts provided by it.
The FSMA further warned that the activities promoted by Levels Socials may be linked to fraudulent trading platforms. Such platforms typically attract investors through online promotions and promises of fast and easy profits, but may ultimately result in significant financial losses.
The regulator noted that fraudulent trading platforms often use attractive offers to deceive investors and encourage them to deposit funds. The FSMA has previously issued warnings about similar schemes and continues to monitor entities operating unlawfully in Belgium.
Levels Socials has been added to the FSMA’s list of fraudulent trading platforms. However, the regulator reminded investors that the warning list is not exhaustive and is updated regularly as new cases are identified.
The FSMA advises investors to verify whether a company is authorised before using any financial services or investment products. Consumers who are uncertain about the legitimacy of a provider are encouraged to consult the FSMA’s official registers or contact the regulator directly.
The warning highlights the ongoing risks posed by unauthorised online trading platforms, which continue to target retail investors through aggressive marketing and promises of unrealistic returns.
