Don't be Fooled by this Fake FXCM Chinese Website!

Jun 26, 2024 BrokersView

exposing this fake FXCM Chinese website

Not long ago, BrokersView received a client complaint against the website https://pc.fxcmmsafefx.cc/, which is currently inaccessible.

The client said his account with FXCM-Safe was blocked and he failed to withdraw funds. The platform froze his account for allegedly violating the “terms” and asked him to deposit a ridiculous amount to unlock his trading account.

BrokersView has found the website is a fake trading site impersonating FXCM, a leading multi-regulated forex broker.

Unveiling the Fake FXCM

According to BrokersView’s previous records, the inaccessible https://pc.fxcmmsafefx.cc/ belongs to a fake FXCM. The other domain of the fake FXCM - https://www.global-fh.com - is currently operating and has been placed on the Investor Alert List of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) for illegally offering financial services or products without proper authorization.

This fake FXCM is an exact replica of the real FXCM’s logo and brand name. In reality, the fake FXCM has no association with FXCM. The fake FXCM claims that all services and products accessible through the site www.fh-chinese.com are provided by Stratos Global LLC, the operator of the real FXCM brand. However, FXCM’s official Chinese website is https://www.fhgroup-zhs.com/. In fact, the fake website just copied fhgroup-zhs’ website outlook and content including all regulatory information to masquerade as legit.

the fake FXCM's false statement

Recently, on June 17th, the fake FXCM was the subject of another trader's complaint. According to the trader, everything he experienced on the platform struck him as a scam: he was asked to pay a risk fee after his withdrawal requests were frequently rejected, and then he was asked to pay a fee to restore his credit score to withdraw his funds.

When engaging with a platform that superficially resembles a well-known platform, you can verify its authenticity through the brand's official website, and check if the platform is owned by it.

The forex market is full of gangs that counterfeit FXCM, often changing their website domains frequently to deceive new victims. If you have any concerns about your potential forex trading platform, you can also check if it meets the requirements to operate as a forex broker or if it is a counterfeit through BrokersView.

BrokersView Reminds You

In the booming forex trading industry with potential risks, scammers are increasingly escalating their tricks. In addition to the continuing emergence of scam brokers, deceptive imposters posing as legitimate brokers are on the rise.

Impersonation scams make it more difficult to avoid forex trading fraud as they often employ sophisticated tactics, creating convincing replicas that may seem authentic at first glance. Some platforms or schemes claim to be associated with legitimate platforms to dupe traders.

Remember, protect your investments by staying informed about regulatory compliance, reading user feedback, and avoiding transactions with unverified brokers.
