CySEC has withdrawn the CIF licence of Eurotrade Investments RGB Ltd, the Cyprus entity associated with the Eurotrader CFD brokerage brand in the EU. The decision was announced on 17 September 2026, following a CySEC Board meeting on 3 August.
According to CySEC, Eurotrade Investments RGB Ltd failed to comply with Articles 9(16) and 17(2) of Cyprus’ Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law.
The regulator cited requirements concerning having at least two persons effectively directing the company’s business activities and maintaining appropriate organisational arrangements. CySEC said the company therefore no longer met the conditions under which its authorisation had been granted.
The withdrawn authorisation was CIF licence No. 279/15, originally issued in 2015.
Following the withdrawal, CySEC said the company must immediately remove references to providing investment services and to its licensing and supervision by CySEC from its websites and elsewhere.
The company must also address customer complaints and must not provide investment or ancillary services under the withdrawn authorisation.
The Eurotrader website separately identifies Eurotrade International Ltd, a Mauritius-registered company, as authorised by the Mauritius Financial Services Commission (FSC) under licence GB22201125. This is a separate legal entity from Eurotrade Investments RGB Ltd.
The licence withdrawal concerns the specific Cyprus entity and its CySEC authorisation. It should not automatically be interpreted as a finding that every Eurotrader entity or service is subject to the same regulatory status.
Investors should also distinguish between complaints and regulatory violations: a customer complaint does not by itself establish wrongdoing, while a regulatory licence does not guarantee that an investment will be safe or profitable.
Before opening or maintaining an account, investors should verify the legal entity, regulator, licence number and applicable terms associated with their account. Regulatory status can differ between entities within the same brand or group.
