CMC Markets Appoints Former Vantage Executive Sidney James to Institutional Sales Team

CMC Markets has hired Sidney James for a senior Institutional Sales – eFX & CFDs role, strengthening its institutional business with an industry veteran who brings more than two decades of experience across sales, operations, and business development.

Based in London, James joins the broker after spending four years at Vantage Markets UK, where he served as Business Development Manager and worked closely with professional and institutional clients. His move comes as Vantage UK's business undergoes leadership changes and operational restructuring.

Prior to Vantage, James held a number of senior positions across the trading industry, including roles at Cresco Capital Markets, where he served in both operational and institutional sales capacities. He also gained experience at AETOS Capital Group, City Credit Capital, ACM Gold, and Harvest Topworth International.

At CMC Markets, James will focus on institutional sales across electronic foreign exchange and CFD products, supporting the broker's efforts to expand relationships with professional traders, institutional clients, and liquidity-focused partners.

The appointment reflects CMC Markets' continued investment in its institutional division as competition intensifies among brokers seeking to grow their presence in the professional and institutional trading segment. James' extensive background in client relationship management, business development, and institutional markets is expected to support the firm's ongoing growth in the sector.
