The CIRO has confirmed that Astra Wave, operating through astra-wave.com, is not registered with CIRO or any Canadian securities regulatory authorities.
The CIRO cautions that fraudulent platforms like Astra Wave often take advantage of people’s rising interest in cryptocurrency to deceive unsuspecting individuals.
Investors are advised to exercise vigilance when approached by Astra Wave or other platforms offering cryptocurrency services, particularly unsolicited investment opportunities. CIRO urges the public to verify the registration status of any trading platform before engaging to safeguard against financial fraud.
