XGLOBAL Markets Review Overview

Traders looking for an objective analysis of this company's services, fees, and safety protocols will find comprehensive answers in our XGLOBAL Markets review. By examining key trading features and comparing execution policies, we help you determine if XGLOBAL Markets is a good broker for your trading style.

Is XGLOBAL Markets Legit and Safe?

XGLOBAL Markets is a fully regulated broker that ensures a secure environment for x global trading through its CySEC and FSCA licenses, though offshore-onboarded accounts carry fewer regulatory safeguards.

XGLOBAL Markets review

What Is XGLOBAL Markets? Company Background

XGLOBAL Markets is an international investment firm and online brokerage founded in 2012 with headquarters in Limassol, Cyprus. Wholly owned by X GLOBAL Holding Ltd, the broker initially focused on offering direct market access to retail and institutional traders in Europe under a model that values execution transparency. To expand its global footprint, the parent group acquired a South African FSCA-regulated financial services provider in 2022, which was subsequently rebranded as XGLOBAL Africa. Today, the brand serves a diverse international client base by providing execution-only trading in currencies, commodities, indices, and shares through multiple regional hubs.

XGLOBAL Markets Regulation

The regulatory authorities that oversee XGLOBAL Markets are the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA), and the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC). These watchdogs consist of high-standard European regulators, regional authorities, and flexible offshore commissions. You can check the CySEC official website to confirm the broker's active regulatory status. Simply search the registry for license number 171/12 under ABF Trade EU Limited to independently verify their credentials.

The table below outlines the regulatory structures, license numbers, and primary protection mechanisms of the operating companies within the XGLOBAL Group.

Entity NameRegulatorLicense NumberRegulatory TierInvestor Protection
ABF Trade EU LimitedCyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC)171/12Tier 2 (Strict European)Segregated accounts, negative balance protection, and up to €20,000 ICF coverage
XGlobal Africa (Pty) LtdFinancial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA)FSP 51306Tier 3 (Regional)Segregated client funds and local South African dispute resolution
XGLOBAL FX LtdVanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC)15062Tier 4 (Offshore)Segregated client funds and flexible offshore execution rules

While European clients receive strict oversight and statutory bankruptcy protection under the CySEC entity, global traders utilizing the offshore xglobal fx entity trade with higher leverage but fewer direct regulatory safety nets.

Which XGLOBAL Markets Entity Serves Your Region?

Clients are onboarded under different entities within the XGLOBAL Group depending on their geographic residence, resulting in major differences in trading conditions and legal protections:

  • European Union Residents: These traders are onboarded under ABF Trade EU Limited, ensuring strict compliance with MiFID II directives and limiting retail leverage to a maximum of 1:30.
  • African Residents: Clients in South Africa and neighboring countries are processed by XGlobal Africa (Pty) Ltd, which is regulated locally by the FSCA to provide customized regional support.
  • Rest of the World (International): Traders from Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America are onboarded via XGLOBAL FX Ltd under VFSC supervision, allowing them to access leverage up to 1:500.

Onboarding procedures also vary heavily between the regulated and offshore entities. The CySEC entity requires a comprehensive proof of address, national identity documentation, and a financial suitability questionnaire before allowing active trading. In contrast, the offshore VFSC entity offers a highly streamlined, rapid onboarding process, enabling traders to set up live accounts within minutes with minimal initial documentation.

Restricted Countries

Because of local regulatory conflicts and strict compliance requirements, XGLOBAL Markets cannot offer its services to residents of certain jurisdictions.

  • Unsupported Jurisdictions: This includes the United States, Canada, and Japan.
  • Restricted Regions: The broker also blocks clients from Iran, Syria, North Korea, and other countries blacklisted by international anti-money laundering authorities.

Client Fund Protection

XGLOBAL Markets enforces several safety protocols to ensure the security of customer deposits across all operating entities:

  • Segregated Accounts: Client funds are kept in separate bank accounts with top-tier financial institutions, ensuring the broker cannot use trader capital to cover operational liabilities.
  • Negative Balance Protection: This safeguard prevents retail accounts from dropping below zero during highly volatile market conditions, protecting traders from owing money to the broker.
  • Investor Compensation Fund (ICF): Retail clients under the CySEC-regulated European entity are eligible for payouts up to €20,000 if the broker becomes insolvent or fails to return funds.

XGLOBAL Markets User Reviews and Trustpilot Rating

XGLOBAL Markets holds a TrustScore of 2.1 out of 5 stars based on 15 reviews on its primary domain, reflecting a generally poor to mixed user sentiment as of June 2026. Because XGLOBAL Markets does not actively solicit reviews from its client base, this very small sample size may not fully represent the experiences of its entire trading community. To provide a broader perspective, the broker's international sister brand under the domain xglobalfx.com maintains a "Great" rating of 3.9 out of 5 stars with over 220 reviews.

Traders who share their experiences online typically focus on a few recurring themes:

  • Stable MT5 Platform: Clients frequently praise the stable MetaTrader 5 execution and the extensive selection of forex, index, and commodity CFDs.
  • Supportive Account Managers: New traders appreciate having dedicated, localized account managers who assist with platform navigation and setup.
  • Islamic Account Availability: Muslim traders highlight the ease of setting up compliant, swap-free trading options across standard accounts.

Conversely, user complaints are centered around the following issues:

  • Deposit and Bank Hurdles: Some users have reported experiencing localized deposit rejections, which often stem from clearing bank policies rather than internal broker errors.
  • Verification Onboarding Times: A few reviewers noted that KYC document verification can occasionally take longer than expected during periods of high application volume.
  • Unresponsive Public Profiles: Several traders pointed out that the broker does not actively monitor or reply to negative reviews on public forums, meaning unresolved disputes remain unaddressed online.

To explore these ratings in detail and read individual customer accounts, you can See XGLOBAL Markets reviews on Trustpilot.

XGLOBAL Markets Account Types

XGLOBAL Markets offers a streamlined selection of multi-asset account types that feature an accessible $100 minimum deposit, competitive execution models, and clear pricing paths for both commission-free and raw-spread traders.

XGLOBAL Markets Account Types and Minimum Deposit Requirements

Rather than complicating the selection with dozens of tiers, the broker focuses on two primary market execution models that cater to distinct trading strategies:

  • XG Raw Account: This tier provides floating spreads from 0.2 pips paired with a flat commission of $7.50 per standard lot traded round turn ($3.75 per side), making it highly suitable for active day traders and scalpers seeking the lowest possible execution costs.
  • XG Zero Account: This tier eliminates commission charges entirely by incorporating all trading costs into a wider floating spread starting from 1.0 pip, creating a simpler and more predictable cost environment for retail swing traders.
  • Low Entry Barrier: Both primary account types share an identical minimum deposit requirement of $100, which allows retail clients to test professional raw-spread execution without committing large amounts of capital.
  • Flexible Leverage Caps: Retail traders onboarded under the strict European CySEC entity are limited to a maximum leverage of 1:30, whereas international clients trading under the offshore VFSC entity can utilize leverage up to 1:500 to maximize market exposure.
  • Supported Base Currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, CHF, and NOK.

The low $100 threshold is highly competitive, especially for the raw spread tier. Many international brokerages restrict raw execution accounts behind $500 or $1,000 minimum deposit limits, meaning XGLOBAL Markets stands out for its pricing accessibility.

Does XGLOBAL Markets Offer an Islamic Account?

Yes, XGLOBAL Markets offers a fully compliant, swap-free Islamic account that allows traders of the Muslim faith to hold positions overnight without incurring interest or rollover fees. This specialized account type shares the standard $100 minimum deposit requirement, operates on zero-commission trading, and carries floating spreads starting from 1.2 pips.

XGLOBAL Markets Fees and Trading Costs

XGLOBAL Markets maintains a mid-tier pricing structure, offering competitive raw spreads from 0.2 pips on majors alongside a standard $7.50 round-turn commission, while avoiding hidden non-trading charges.

XGLOBAL Markets Trading Fees (Spreads / Commission Fees / Swap and Overnight Fees)

Trading fees at XGLOBAL Markets vary based on the account type you select, presenting a clear choice between spread-only and commission-plus-raw-spread execution models:

  • Spreads Analysis: On the XG Raw Account, average spreads for major currency pairs like EUR/USD and USD/JPY consistently sit at a competitive 0.2 pips. For the commission-free XG Zero Account, spreads on the same major pairs start at a wider 1.0 pip.
  • Commission Fees: The XG Raw Account carries a transparent commission fee of $7.50 per standard lot traded round turn ($3.75 per side). This rate is highly competitive and is on par with the standard retail rates charged by major ECN brokers in the industry.
  • Swap and Overnight Fees: Positions held past the daily market close (typically 22:00 GMT) are subject to swap charges, which are determined by the prevailing interest rate differentials of the traded asset's currency pair. For Islamic accounts, overnight swap charges are waived entirely; however, to prevent arbitrage abuse, a nightly "storage fee" is applied if positions are held open beyond a defined calendar duration.

XGLOBAL Markets Non-Trading Fees (Inactivity Fees / Currency Conversion Fees)

Unlike many of its competitors, XGLOBAL Markets does not penalize passive traders with arbitrary administrative fees, establishing a highly transparent non-trading cost structure:

  • Inactivity Fees: The broker does not charge standard retail dormancy or inactivity fees on funded or empty accounts, allowing long-term investors to maintain their portfolios without worrying about automatic balance deductions.
  • Currency Conversion Fees: If your account base currency matches the deposit currency (with support for USD, EUR, GBP, CHF, and NOK), profits and losses are calculated and paid in that exact currency, allowing you to bypass costly currency conversion spreads on withdrawals.

XGLOBAL Markets Deposits & Withdrawals

XGLOBAL Markets provides a highly accessible funding environment featuring zero-fee deposits and withdrawals across major credit cards, bank wires, and e-wallets, with a low minimum withdrawal threshold of $10.

Deposit and Withdrawal Methods

Funding options are diverse and accommodate both global and regional clients. You can deposit and withdraw funds using major credit and debit cards, including Visa and MasterCard, which process instantly for base currencies USD, EUR, GBP, CHF, and ZAR. The broker also supports traditional international bank wire transfers, processing on the same business day for deposits, while bank wires for withdrawals are processed with shared transaction SWIFT fees. For digital payment enthusiasts, e-wallet platforms such as Skrill, Neteller, and Sticpay are supported for instant deposits and rapid withdrawals in multiple major fiat currencies. Regional clients in South Africa can also utilize local InstantEFT bank transfers in ZAR.

Processing Speed and Limits

The minimum deposit across all methods remains a very low $100, while the minimum withdrawal amount is exceptionally low at just $10 (or 200 ZAR for regional InstantEFT withdrawals). Credit card and e-wallet deposits are instantly credited to the MT5 trading account. On the other hand, withdrawal requests are verified and processed by the broker's back office on the same business day if submitted within standard business hours. E-wallet withdrawals are usually received within 24 hours of approval, whereas international bank wires can take between 2 to 5 business days to clear into your local bank account.

Deposit and Withdrawal Fees

XGLOBAL Markets stands out by covering the processing transaction fees charged by credit card issuers, local bank payment gateways, and e-wallets, resulting in 100% free deposits and withdrawals for clients. The only notable exception is bank wire withdrawals: the broker shares the international SWIFT fee, meaning any intermediary banks along the transaction path may deduct small, independent clearing fees before the funds settle in your destination bank.

Withdrawal Issues and User Complaints

There are no systematic or widespread reports of payment delays or withdrawal failures associated with XGLOBAL Markets. An isolated client report on Trustpilot in September 2023 mentioned deposit rejections, but this was subsequently identified as a regional bank block rather than a structural issue with the broker's platform. To ensure seamless payouts, traders should complete full KYC verification prior to initiating their first withdrawal and must use a payment source matching the name registered on their trading account to satisfy strict anti-money laundering (AML) protocols.

XGLOBAL Markets Trading Platforms, Conditions & Experience

XGLOBAL Markets delivers a highly robust MT5-centric trading environment characterized by lightning-fast, non-dealing desk STP execution, competitive multi-regional leverage, and dedicated 24/5 client support.

Does XGLOBAL Markets Support MT4, MT5 & Mobile Trading?

XGLOBAL Markets focuses exclusively on the MetaTrader 5 platform to deliver a highly optimized multi-device trading experience across desktop, web, and mobile systems. By consolidating its trading experience onto MetaTrader 5, the broker ensures maximum system stability and execution efficiency.

  • MetaTrader 5 (MT5): This serves as the primary multi-asset terminal, supporting advanced charting packages, extensive historical data, and MQL5 algorithmic programming.
  • Mobile & Tablet Apps: The broker fully integrates the official iOS and Android MT5 apps, enabling traders to manage and monitor their live positions on-the-go with millisecond precision.
  • MAM Multi-Trader: This specialized software is available for authorized asset managers, allowing them to execute block trades and manage multiple client portfolios simultaneously under a single master terminal.

While MetaTrader 4 (MT4) was historically offered by the broker, the current offering has shifted entirely toward the more modern, feature-rich MT5 infrastructure, which handles complex multi-asset execution far more efficiently.

What Can You Trade on XGLOBAL Markets? (markets and instruments)

XGLOBAL Markets provides a solid selection of over 100 CFDs covering forex, major equity indices, precious metals, energy commodities, and popular cryptocurrencies. The available asset list contains the most popular and highly liquid global symbols.

  • Energies: Includes WTI crude, Brent crude, and natural gas, offering volatile pricing triggers suitable for energy-focused day traders.

  • Share CFDs: Accesses major blue-chip US, UK, and European stock CFDs, enabling directional trades on individual corporate performance without requiring physical stock ownership.

XGLOBAL Markets Leverage, Margin & Order Execution

XGLOBAL Markets utilizes a No Dealing Desk, Straight-Through Processing execution model that matches traders directly with tier-1 liquidity pools while applying leverage limits up to 1:500 depending on client jurisdiction. This execution setup ensures a conflict-free environment where the broker's interests align with those of its clients.

  • Leverage Limits: European traders are capped at 1:30 for retail trades under CySEC, while global and South African entities can utilize maximum leverage up to 1:500 depending on the asset class traded.
  • No Dealing Desk (NDD): Order routing operates on a pure Straight-Through Processing (STP) model, guaranteeing that all client trades are matched directly with top-tier liquidity providers with zero broker manipulation or re-quotes.
  • Execution Speeds: Trade execution speeds consistently average below 0.5 seconds, ensuring minimal slippage for fast-moving strategies like scalping.
  • Margin Levels: The platform enforces a 100% margin call warning level and a strict 50% stop-out threshold, protecting the system and traders from cascading debt during periods of extreme price volatility.

XGLOBAL Markets Research Tools & Educational Resources

XGLOBAL Markets features technical automation through a direct Autochartist partnership, though its in-house educational materials remain highly basic. The broker relies primarily on third-party integrations to assist traders with market research.

  • Autochartist Integration: This industry-leading automated technical analysis tool scans the markets in real-time, providing automated pattern recognition and actionable trade signals to all live account holders.
  • Fundamental Market News: The broker provides daily market analysis and standard macroeconomic calendars, giving casual swing traders a basic overview of high-impact economic releases.
  • Knowledge Base and FAQs: A basic self-service portal exists on their website to help beginners learn platform essentials, though it lacks structured webinars, interactive masterclasses, or professional video tutorials.

How Good Is XGLOBAL Markets Customer Support?

XGLOBAL Markets provides reliable 24/5 customer support via email, phone, and live chat, bolstered by the assignment of dedicated personal account managers. This localized approach ensures that technical or funding issues are handled with minimal delay.

  • 24/5 Multi-Channel Contact: Customer support is available 24 hours a day, 5 days a week via email, web-based live chat, and direct telephone lines.
  • Dedicated Account Managers: Live account holders are assigned a personal account manager to assist with platform installation, account verification, and deposit inquiries.
  • Localized Regional Hubs: Phone support operates under direct regional lines, with dedicated numbers for European (+357 25 262002) and offshore/international (+44 203 0341433) clients, ensuring prompt assistance in multiple languages.

Who Is XGLOBAL Markets Best For?

XGLOBAL Markets is best suited for experienced day traders, scalpers, and budget-conscious investors who prioritize fast, conflict-free STP execution on MT5, whereas complete beginners may struggle with its minimal educational resources.

Is XGLOBAL Markets Good for Scalpers and Day Traders?

Yes, XGLOBAL Markets is an excellent choice for scalpers and day traders who require high-speed market execution and tight raw-spread pricing without dealer intervention. The broker's Straight-Through Processing (STP) and No Dealing Desk (NDD) execution models match order flow directly with top-tier global banks, minimizing slippage during high-impact market releases. Because scalping strategies rely on capturing microscopic price movements, the XG Raw account’s tight spreads (starting from 0.2 pips) combined with a highly competitive commission structure ensure that transaction costs do not erode daily trading profits.

Is XGLOBAL Markets Good for Budget-Conscious and Low-Deposit Traders?

Yes, XGLOBAL Markets is highly suitable for budget-conscious and low-deposit traders who want to access institutional-grade trading conditions without a massive capital commitment. While many traditional ECN brokers lock their raw-spread and low-commission environments behind $1,000 or $5,000 minimum deposit tiers, XGLOBAL Markets offers its XG Raw account starting at just $100. Furthermore, the complete absence of deposit or withdrawal fees for credit cards and e-wallets, coupled with a tiny $10 minimum withdrawal limit, ensures that retail traders can manage their capital efficiently without administrative fees eating into their balances.

Is XGLOBAL Markets Good for Complete Beginners?

No, XGLOBAL Markets is not the ideal broker for complete beginners who require highly structured educational courses, interactive virtual trading academies, or a simplified proprietary mobile app. Although the $100 entry barrier is highly accessible, the lack of interactive learning pathways creates a steep learning curve for those with zero market experience. Beginners must rely on self-education using external platforms, as the broker provides only basic platform setup guides and daily fundamental news. Additionally, the standard MetaTrader 5 interface can feel complex and intimidating to novices who prefer the gamified, highly intuitive mobile platforms provided by retail-focused competitor firms.

Best for: Scalpers, algorithmic day traders, and retail clients looking for highly accessible, low-deposit raw execution on MetaTrader 5.
Less ideal for: Complete novices who require structured educational curricula, step-by-step video masterclasses, or a simplified proprietary trading application.

Compare XGLOBAL Markets with Other Popular Brokers

XGLOBAL Markets stands out for its streamlined MT5-only environment and low-barrier raw execution, but its slim asset catalog and basic educational resources make it less versatile than some of its major industry competitors.

XGLOBAL Markets vs AvaTrade

The primary distinction between these two brokerages lies in their platform architecture and spread execution models: XGLOBAL Markets focuses strictly on variable-spread execution via MT5, whereas AvaTrade prioritizes fixed-spread pricing across a highly customized platform ecosystem. XGLOBAL Markets offers significantly tighter raw spreads starting from 0.2 pips on its raw tier with a $100 minimum deposit; AvaTrade charges no commissions and relies entirely on fixed spreads that average 0.9 pips on EUR/USD. In terms of licensing, AvaTrade holds a vastly larger global regulatory footprint with active supervision in Europe, Australia, South Africa, Japan, and the Middle East, while XGLOBAL's oversight is limited to CySEC, FSCA, and VFSC. Furthermore, AvaTrade delivers a massive suite of proprietary applications, copy trading tools, and extensive educational academy tracks, leaving XGLOBAL's basic MT5 setup in a distant second place for complete beginners.

Takeaway: XGLOBAL Markets is the better choice for high-frequency scalp strategies requiring tight raw spreads; AvaTrade is superior for novice traders seeking structured education and fixed costs.

XGLOBAL Markets vs TMGM

The major point of differentiation between these platforms is their minimum deposit requirements and global platform accessibility. While both brokers offer institutional-grade raw execution with spreads starting at 0.0 to 0.2 pips, TMGM supports both MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 alongside its own proprietary mobile app, whereas XGLOBAL Markets restricts its users entirely to MetaTrader 5. However, XGLOBAL Markets offers its competitive Raw Account for a highly accessible $100 entry barrier; by contrast, TMGM requires a $100 minimum deposit but reserves its lowest spreads for accounts with higher active trading volume. TMGM also boasts a far more extensive catalog of tradeable assets, listing over 12,000 financial instruments including shares and futures, compared to the modest 100+ CFDs available at XGLOBAL.

Takeaway: XGLOBAL Markets is the more cost-effective option for low-deposit retail traders wanting raw spreads on MT5; TMGM is far better for professional multi-platform access and deep asset diversity.

XGLOBAL Markets vs RoboForex

The key variance between these brokers centers on execution diversity and the scale of their trading conditions. XGLOBAL Markets streamlines its trading environment by providing a single platform (MT5) across two straightforward market execution accounts; conversely, RoboForex provides access to multiple terminals including MT4, MT5, cTrader, and their proprietary R StocksTrader. RoboForex also features a vastly superior selection of over 12,000 instruments and supports automated copy-trading through its CopyFX network, which XGLOBAL lacks completely. However, XGLOBAL Markets maintains a cleaner regulatory profile in Europe under its CySEC license; on the other hand, RoboForex relies primarily on offshore licenses for its international operations after transitioning its retail operations.

Takeaway: XGLOBAL Markets is the preferred choice for regulation-conscious European MT5 traders; RoboForex is superior for copy trading and platform customization.

XGLOBAL Markets Broker Quick Verdict

XGLOBAL Markets is a highly competitive option for active MT5 traders seeking direct, low-cost raw execution from a modest $100 deposit, though its basic educational resources and limited asset selection may deter complete beginners. Ultimately, this XGLOBAL Markets review concludes that while diversified investors might feel constrained by the broker's narrow product catalog, its conflict-free STP model provides an exceptional environment for day traders.

Editorial Transparency: This XGLOBAL Markets review is based on information from the official XGLOBAL Markets website, current regulatory filings, and independent third-party sources such as Trustpilot. We cross-checked the broker's regulation and license details, account types, trading and non-trading fees, deposit and withdrawal terms, platforms, and real user feedback to ensure accuracy and objectivity. This content is for educational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice; trading CFDs carries a high risk of losing money. Last updated: June 2026.

I opened an account with XGlobal Markets and have been trading with them for 2 weeks. I signed up with them because their advertised spreads are low (albeit variable) and they dont charge swaps. The MT4 processes orders quicker than other brokers I have used and they were executed as they should have been. They have a good offering and so far looks like a good broker.
