  • Nov 30, 2022 BrokersView has Reviewed that INDEX FX is an Unregulated Forex Broker

    INDEX FX claims to be registered with Companies House of United Kingdom, No. 14094310. We searched CH and found a company named INDEXTRADE LTD. However, the address presented in CH website was different from the one in INDEX FX's page. And CH is not a forex regulator. It does not regulate forex brokers or issue forex licenses. Having registration or not, therefore, does not mean being authorized to provide financial services.

    According to INDEX FX's website, the company is located in U.S.. The broker also claims to be authorized by U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). However, SEC is neither a forex regulator. 

    We searched National Futures Association (NFA) of the United States but found no matching results. And there was no financial reports of this company in U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). All in all, this broker is not regulated in the USA. 

    Moreover, the United Kingdom Financial Conduct Authority (UK FCA) issued a warning that INDEX FX was providing financial services or products in the UK without authorisation. 

    The truth is that INDEX FX is not regulated by any regulators. Letting this broker hold or control investors' money is unsafe, and the money can not be protected by any laws. Therefore, it is a scam.
