Pros & Cons
Pros
  • Diverse selection of over 300+ tradable assets spanning forex, stocks, commodities, indices, and cryptocurrencies, allowing traders to easily build well-diversified portfolios.
  • Flexible leverage ratios of up to 1:400 on high-tier accounts, giving experienced traders the ability to maximize their market exposure with smaller capital.
  • Six tailored account tiers with specialized features and progressive benefits, providing a structured growth path for traders as their deposit sizes increase.
  • Proprietary Web and mobile-friendly trading platform featuring a simplified user interface, making market execution highly accessible for beginner traders.
  • Standard negative balance protection across all accounts, ensuring that retail clients cannot lose more money than their initial deposit during volatile market events.
Cons
  • Solely regulated offshore by the Seychelles FSA, which provides significantly lower investor protection and financial oversight compared to Tier-1 authorities like the FCA or ASIC.
  • Excessive trading costs with EUR/USD spreads starting at 2.5 pips on the entry-level Classic account, making the broker highly expensive for day traders and scalpers.
  • Prohibitive standard withdrawal fees of 3.5% or a minimum of $30 charged on all accounts below the Platinum tier, which significantly eats into a trader's realized profits during cash-outs.
  • No support for industry-standard MetaTrader 4 or 5 platforms, limiting advanced traders who rely on automated expert advisors and custom charting tools.
GO4REX Review Overview

In this GO4REX review, we dissect the platform's regulatory standing, trading fees, and account options to help you make an informed decision. Our comprehensive analysis will ultimately answer the core question: is GO4REX a good broker for your trading needs?

Is GO4REX Legit and Safe?

GO4REX has significant safety and regulatory concerns due to its offshore licensing and warning alerts issued by several financial authorities. Understanding how a broker operates and where its regulatory oversight lies is crucial for any trader looking to protect their investment capital.

GO4REX review

What Is GO4REX? Company Background

GO4REX is an online retail broker that offers contracts for difference (CFD) trading across global markets, including currencies, commodities, indices, and shares. Established around 2018, the broker is operated by a parent firm named FX Capital Ltd, which is registered and headquartered in the Seychelles [1]. While the company claims to serve over 650,000 registered traders worldwide, it does not maintain physical regional offices in major financial hubs, raising initial questions about its corporate transparency and accountability.

GO4REX Regulation

GO4REX is overseen and regulated solely by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA). The Seychelles Financial Services Authority is considered a tier-3 or offshore regulator, providing less stringent oversight than traditional regulatory bodies. You can check the Seychelles FSA official website to verify GO4REX's regulatory standing. Simply search for "FX Capital Ltd" or license number "SD023" within their active register of licensed Securities Dealers to confirm its current offshore status.

The table below outlines the core regulatory credentials and investor protections offered under GO4REX’s operating license.

Entity NameRegulatorLicense NumberRegulatory TierInvestor Protection
FX Capital LtdSeychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA)SD023Tier 3 (Offshore)No compensation schemes, no statutory negative balance protection, high leverage up to 1:400

This offshore licensing model allows the broker to offer higher leverage limits to international clients but leaves retail accounts without the critical safeguards typical of tier-1 regulatory jurisdictions.

Which GO4REX Entity Serves Your Region?

Because FX Capital Ltd operates only under its single offshore license, all global clients who register with the broker are onboarded under this Seychelles-regulated entity.

  • Onboarding under an offshore license features simplified Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, allowing traders to set up accounts much faster than under strict tier-1 regimes.
  • The critical tradeoff of offshore onboarding is the total absence of localized investor protection, meaning clients have no legal recourse to independent financial ombudsmen in the event of a contractual dispute.
  • Highly regulated jurisdictions mandate that brokers assess client suitability before allowing real-money trading, a safeguard that is entirely bypassed under GO4REX's offshore onboarding structure.

Restricted Countries

GO4REX does not offer its trading services to residents of certain jurisdictions, including the United States and North Korea, due to strict regulatory prohibitions in those areas. Additionally, regional regulatory authorities may restrict access or issue formal warnings against the platform. For example, in June 2025, the Chilean Comisión para el Mercado Financiero (CMF) officially blacklisted GO4REX, warning local citizens that the broker operates entirely without local registration or authorization.

Client Fund Protection

While GO4REX claims to protect its platform and client databases using standard SSL encryption protocols, its actual client fund protection framework is weak compared to industry leaders. Offshore regulation in the Seychelles does not strictly mandate institutional-grade client fund segregation at top-tier international banks. Furthermore, because GO4REX does not participate in any recognized investor compensation schemes, clients' capital is heavily exposed to the broker's operational risks and potential insolvency.

GO4REX User Reviews and Trustpilot Rating

GO4REX currently has an unavailable rating on Trustpilot due to a serious breach of platform guidelines, though its historical rating sat at a low 3.1/5 based on approximately 87 reviews, reflecting highly negative overall user sentiment. This disciplinary status was confirmed as of June 2026, with the review platform actively maintaining a warning banner across the broker's profile page. Trustpilot explicitly noted that they detected and removed a significant volume of fake, manufactured positive reviews that were designed to artificially inflate the broker's public image.

To understand the broader trader experience, you can See GO4REX reviews on Trustpilot and analyze the surviving feedback left by verified users.

Among the limited recurring positive comments that survived platform moderation, users highlighted:

  • An interactive simulation game and educational materials that initially helped beginners grasp trading basics.
  • Responsive onboarding and quick registration assistance from the broker's sales representatives.

Conversely, the overwhelming majority of authentic, 1-star user complaints consistently emphasize severe operational red flags:

  • Complete blocking of withdrawals, with client accounts frozen or requests denied unless traders pay additional "fees" or make larger deposits first.
  • Aggressive, manipulative pressure from assigned account managers who direct traders into high-risk, volatile positions, often resulting in a complete wipeout of user capital.
  • Sudden termination of communication, unresponsive support channels, and restricted access to the trading platform once a user officially requests a full account closure.

GO4REX Account Types

GO4REX operates a high-barrier account tier system starting at a $250 minimum deposit for its Basic tier and scaling to $25,000 for Platinum, offering offshore leverage up to 1:400. While the platform advertises multiple account choices to cater to different experience levels, the structure heavily penalizes retail traders who cannot afford massive upfront capital.

GO4REX Account Types and Minimum Deposit Requirements

Instead of offering a single, flexible account type with competitive pricing, GO4REX segments its features across five distinct, capital-intensive tiers.

  • The Basic Account requires a minimum deposit of $250 and offers leverage up to 1:200, which is a significantly higher entry barrier than standard retail brokers that typically allow starting balances as low as $5 to $10.
  • The Bronze Account demands a $1,000 minimum deposit and maintains a leverage limit of 1:200, providing standard platform support but leaving traders with wide fixed spreads.
  • The Silver Account has a steep $2,500 minimum deposit limit and keeps leverage capped at 1:200, acting as an intermediary step with few substantial upgrades in trading conditions.
  • The Gold Account steps up to a $10,000 minimum deposit and increases maximum leverage to 1:300, introducing cryptocurrency CFDs and officially permitting scalping strategies, which are restricted on lower accounts.
  • The Platinum Account is the broker’s premier option, requiring a massive $25,000 minimum deposit to unlock the maximum leverage of 1:400, their lowest available fixed spreads, and access to ETF trading.

In practice, this tiered system means that retail traders face highly restrictive conditions unless they risk substantial capital. GO4REX utilizes a commission-free pricing model across all five account tiers. However, this is a distinct disadvantage for most active traders; because there are no flat commission charges, the broker builds its revenue entirely into the spread.

On the Basic, Bronze, and Silver accounts, spreads on major pairs like the EUR/USD start at a wide 2.0 to 2.5 pips. This pricing structure is incredibly expensive compared to modern ECN or raw-spread brokers, where trading costs typically average 0.0 to 1.2 pips including commissions. Furthermore, the restriction on scalping on any account tier below Gold ($10,000) prevents short-term day traders from utilizing their preferred execution strategies altogether.

Does GO4REX Offer an Islamic Account?

GO4REX does not offer an Islamic or swap-free account option, meaning all account tiers are subject to standard overnight interest fees (swaps). Muslim traders who require strict Sharia compliance regarding interest-free accounts will need to seek alternative brokers, as GO4REX mandates swap charges on all open positions held past market close.

GO4REX Fees and Trading Costs

GO4REX operates under a fee structure that is heavily weighted toward wide fixed spreads and excessive withdrawal service charges rather than standard trade execution commissions. This makes the overall cost of trading on the platform highly uncompetitive for both retail and professional market participants.

GO4REX Trading Fees (Spreads / Commission Fees / Swap and Overnight Fees)

The broker relies on a commission-free pricing model, meaning it does not charge a flat rate per lot traded. While this is promoted as a benefit, the true cost of execution is embedded in their wide, fixed spreads:

  • Standard spreads for major currency pairs like the EUR/USD start at 2.0 to 2.5 pips on Basic and Bronze accounts, which is more than double the industry average of 1.0 to 1.5 pips for standard retail accounts.
  • Overnight swap fees are charged on any positions held past 5:00 PM EST, representing the interest rate differential between the paired currencies.
  • Because the broker completely lacks a swap-free account tier, these overnight charges are mandatory for all clients, presenting an unavoidable fee burden for long-term swing traders and Sharia-compliant investors.

GO4REX Non-Trading Fees (Inactivity Fees / Currency Conversion Fees)

Beyond the costs incurred during active market execution, GO4REX imposes some of the most aggressive non-trading fees in the retail brokerage industry:

  • The Inactivity Fee is set at a steep $55.00 per month starting on the 61st day of account dormancy, which is an exceptionally high penalty compared to mainstream brokers that usually charge $10.00 after six to twelve months.
  • The Maintenance Fee is a monthly administrative charge applied starting from the very first trade executed, further reducing the cash balance of active accounts.
  • The Currency Conversion Fee applies whenever a client trades an instrument denominated in a currency other than their base currency (USD, EUR, or GBP), with the conversion rates set internally by the broker's clearing desk.

GO4REX Deposits & Withdrawals (Deposit and Withdrawal Methods / Withdrawal Speed and Minimum Limits / Deposit and Withdrawal Fees / Withdrawal Issues and User Complaints)

GO4REX's deposit and withdrawal framework features restrictive payment methods, steep service fees of up to 3.5% or $30 per transaction, and a high minimum withdrawal limit of $100. Because these transaction conditions directly impact how easily you can retrieve your capital, understanding the financial terms of account management is vital.

The broker's payment channels are limited. Clients can fund accounts using credit or debit cards and standard bank wire transfers, but the platform does not support popular digital e-wallets such as Neteller, Skrill, or PayPal. To begin trading, the broker requires an initial minimum deposit of $250 for its Basic tier, although the backend system will accept general transactions starting at $100.

When it comes to retrieving funds, the minimum withdrawal limit is fixed at $100 for both card and bank wire channels. For withdrawal fees, the platform enforces highly restrictive policies. Standard account holders (Basic, Bronze, Silver, and Gold) are charged a service fee of 3.5% of the transaction value or a flat $30, whichever is higher, per withdrawal. Only high-tier Platinum and Black account holders receive their first withdrawal free of charge. While the official processing speed is listed as 3 to 5 business days, actual withdrawal times can extend significantly.

Withdrawal Issues and User Complaints

Genuine user reviews and exposure claims on independent databases like WikiFX and global recovery forums paint a deeply concerning picture of GO4REX's withdrawal practices. Verified traders attempting to secure their capital consistently report severe roadblocks.

  • Account representatives frequently demand unexpected and dubious upfront fees—such as "compliance fees," "VAT charges," "stamp taxes," or "conversion costs"—without providing formal invoices or receipts.
  • Support representatives reportedly stop answering emails or suspend live chat privileges once a client formally declines to make further deposits and requests a full account liquidation.
  • In extreme cases, users have documented threats from their assigned account managers stating that their trading accounts will be "auctioned off on the market" if they do not immediately pay additional fees to release their pending withdrawals.

These severe issues highlight the immense risk of capital lockouts and permanent loss of funds associated with the platform.

GO4REX Trading Platforms, Conditions & Experience

GO4REX relies on a closed proprietary web platform and restricts key trading strategies, providing highly unfavorable terms for modern day traders. While the broker claims to provide a next-generation experience, its execution conditions and restrictive platform setup lag far behind modern industry standards.

Does GO4REX Support MT4, MT5 & Mobile Trading?

GO4REX does not support the industry-standard MetaTrader 4 (MT4) or MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platforms, forcing clients to use its basic proprietary software. This omission is a major disadvantage for serious retail traders, given that over 80% of the global forex market relies on MetaTrader terminals.

  • The Proprietary Web Trader operates as a closed ecosystem, completely blocking the use of custom technical indicators and automated trading scripts (Expert Advisors) built for MT4 or MT5.
  • The Mobile Trading Application downscales the web platform for iOS and Android devices, but users report that the application is prone to lag and lacks advanced multi-chart analysis tools.
  • The absence of third-party platform options means that traders are entirely dependent on GO4REX’s internal software updates, leaving them with no alternative trading interface if the proprietary system suffers a server outage.

What Can You Trade on GO4REX? (markets and instruments)

GO4REX offers access to over 1,000 contracts for difference (CFDs) spanning forex, shares, commodities, indices, and cryptocurrencies, though asset availability is restricted by account tier. Retail traders are heavily limited in their choice of financial instruments unless they deposit premium levels of capital.

  • Forex: The platform provides access to major, minor, and exotic currency pairs, which form the core of its retail trading volume.
  • Stocks and Indices: Traders can speculate on global equities like Microsoft, Alibaba, and Coca-Cola, alongside major global indices including the NASDAQ, S&P 500, and FTSE MIB.
  • Commodities: Precious metals and energies, such as Brent Crude Oil, are available as standard CFD contracts across all accounts.
  • Cryptocurrencies and ETFs: These highly sought-after assets are strictly locked behind premium tiers, requiring a minimum deposit of $10,000 for crypto CFDs and a staggering $25,000 for exchange-traded funds.

GO4REX Leverage, Margin & Order Execution

GO4REX provides high offshore leverage of up to 1:400 and operates an execution model that frequently leads to slippage and order rejection. Because the broker is regulated in the offshore jurisdiction of the Seychelles, it is not bound by the strict 1:30 retail leverage limits enforced by regulators in the UK, Europe, and Australia.

Leverage on the platform is directly tied to a trader's account size, starting at 1:200 for the Basic, Bronze, and Silver tiers, increasing to 1:300 for Gold, and peaking at 1:400 for Platinum. While this high leverage allows traders to control large market positions with minimal capital, it drastically increases the risk of rapid, devastating losses. The broker implements a margin call threshold at 100% and sets the final stop-out level between 20% and 35%.

Under the hood, GO4REX utilizes a B-book market-making model where order execution is handled entirely by its own internal dealing desk. In this execution framework, the broker acts as the direct counterparty to client trades, creating an inherent conflict of interest. While they claim to offer immediate execution and support limit orders (labeled "at requested price"), traders frequently report substantial slippage, delayed fill rates, and frequent re-quotes during periods of high market volatility.

GO4REX Research Tools & Educational Resources

GO4REX provides basic educational materials and trading signals, but restricts advanced training programs to high-tier accounts that require a minimum deposit of $10,000. This gatekeeping strategy prevents beginners on standard accounts from accessing high-value training.

  • Basic educational resources, including entry-level e-books and video tutorials, are only unlocked for accounts funded with $250 or more.
  • Advanced, personalized training sessions are strictly reserved for premium Gold and Platinum account holders, leaving basic-tier users with generic, widely available online materials.
  • The integrated trading signals are sourced from external research houses, but the broker provides no historical performance verification or accuracy guarantees for these alerts.
  • Standard platform analysis tools are limited to a basic economic calendar, real-time charting interfaces, and simple price alerts, offering little value for advanced technical or fundamental analysts.

How Good Is GO4REX Customer Support?

GO4REX offers 24/6 customer support via email and localized phone numbers across several countries, but user reports describe the service as highly unresponsive once withdrawal issues arise. While the sales and onboarding departments are incredibly active when soliciting deposits, standard customer service channels deteriorate rapidly post-funding.

The broker lists official support contact channels through its email (support@go4rex.com) and offers regional phone lines to accommodate international clients:

  • United Kingdom: +44 2038078564
  • Mexico: +52 8339800456
  • Colombia: +57 6019194367
  • Peru: +51 17073887
  • El Salvador: +503 21131757
  • Chile: +56 225832062

In practice, the quality of customer assistance is deeply flawed. Traders consistently complain that while account representatives call repeatedly to encourage greater market exposure, any technical queries regarding platform errors or pending withdrawals are met with total silence or evasive automated responses.

Who Is GO4REX Best For?

GO4REX is highly limited in its target audience, appealing almost exclusively to aggressive, high-risk offshore traders who prioritize high leverage over regulatory safety. Because of its restrictive trading rules, wide spreads, and controversial customer relations, the platform does not fit the needs of mainstream retail investors.

Is GO4REX Good for Beginners?

GO4REX is not recommended for beginners due to its high minimum deposit requirements, aggressive advisory practices, and gated educational resources. While the broker markets itself to first-time traders, the actual operational environment is highly hostile to newcomers. The entry threshold of $250 is exceptionally high for individuals who should be starting with micro-accounts, and the lack of negative balance protection means novices can easily lose more than their initial capital. Furthermore, the persistent complaints regarding "account managers" pressuring clients to fund larger accounts can quickly lead inexperienced traders into making poor, emotionally driven financial decisions.

Is GO4REX Good for Scalpers?

GO4REX is highly unsuitable for scalpers because it bans short-term trading strategies on all standard accounts and charges wide fixed spreads. High-frequency scalpers rely on razor-thin spreads and lightning-fast execution to capture fractional profits across dozens of daily trades. Under GO4REX's platform rules, any form of scalping is strictly prohibited on the Basic, Bronze, and Silver tiers, making it impossible to execute short-term strategies without risking account termination. Even if a trader deposits the $10,000 required to unlock the Gold tier where scalping is allowed, the 2.0-pip fixed spreads are far too wide to allow for profitable high-velocity trading.

Is GO4REX Good for High-Leverage Traders?

GO4REX is suitable only for high-risk speculative traders who specifically require leverage up to 1:400 and are willing to trade under an offshore regulatory framework. Professional and aggressive traders who are restricted by the tight 1:30 leverage caps in major regulated jurisdictions may find the platform's high leverage appealing for large, short-term margin plays. However, this high leverage acts as a double-edged sword when paired with a dealing-desk execution model. The increased probability of slippage and the absolute lack of regulatory oversight make using maximum leverage on this platform an incredibly hazardous venture that should only be approached with risk capital that a trader can afford to lose entirely.

Best for: High-risk speculative traders seeking offshore leverage up to 1:400.
Less ideal for: Beginners, scalpers, day traders, and safety-conscious retail investors.

Compare GO4REX with Other Popular Brokers

GO4REX compares poorly with major industry competitors due to its high transaction fees, restricted platform choices, and weak offshore regulatory status. Side-by-side evaluations against recognized international firms demonstrate where the broker falls short.

GO4REX vs XM

GO4REX operates without the tier-1 regulation and beginner-friendly trading conditions that establish XM as a highly secure option for retail investors. GO4REX enforces a high minimum deposit of $250 for its basic account, whereas XM allows traders to open accounts with a mere $5. While GO4REX is regulated offshore in the Seychelles, its competitor holds highly reputable licenses from top-tier watchdogs including ASIC and CySEC. Furthermore, GO4REX charges fixed EUR/USD spreads of 2.0 to 2.5 pips; by contrast, the competitor provides competitive variable spreads starting from 0.6 pips on its ultra-low accounts. GO4REX restricts platform choices to a basic proprietary web application, but its counterpart fully supports the advanced MetaTrader 4 and 5 terminals.

Takeaway: GO4REX is suitable only for traders seeking raw high leverage; XM is the superior choice for beginners and security-focused investors.

GO4REX vs Exness

GO4REX provides highly restrictive withdrawal conditions and wider fixed spreads compared to the low-cost, automated-withdrawal structure of Exness. The minimum entry barrier for a GO4REX trading account is $250, whereas Exness features a dynamic minimum deposit starting as low as $10. GO4REX implements a 3.5% or $30 withdrawal fee that heavily penalizes small balances; on the other hand, the competing platform offers free, instant automated withdrawals to all users. GO4REX offers EUR/USD spreads starting at 2.0 pips, yet its rival provides raw-spread accounts where trading costs average just 0.1 pips. GO4REX enforces strict caps on leverage based on capital tiers, while its offshore counterpart allows unlimited leverage options under specific equity conditions.

Takeaway: GO4REX is the better choice for traders seeking a fixed spread model; Exness suits active day traders who prioritize low costs and immediate capital access.

GO4REX vs eToro

GO4REX lacks the social copy-trading infrastructure and multi-jurisdictional licensing that define the proprietary user experience on eToro. GO4REX concentrates its offering purely on traditional CFD derivatives under a single offshore Seychelles registration, whereas eToro allows clients to purchase real underlying stocks and ETFs under the oversight of FCA, CySEC, and ASIC. While GO4REX charges wide fixed spreads, its competitor uses variable spreads that are significantly lower for major asset classes. GO4REX restricts beginner learning by locking advanced training behind a $10,000 paywall; conversely, its competitor provides a completely free demo account and open social feeds where novices can automatically copy the trades of experienced investors. Finally, GO4REX is plagued by widespread complaints regarding delayed withdrawals, in contrast to its rival's highly transparent, standardized cash-out workflow.

Takeaway: GO4REX is the better choice for high-leverage CFD trading; eToro is the superior choice for social copy trading and real stock investments.

GO4REX Broker Quick Verdict

GO4REX is a viable option for experienced risk-tolerant traders seeking high offshore leverage, though this GO4REX review must caution against its high trading fees and compromised regulatory safety. The broker's lack of tier-1 regulation, wide fixed spreads, and highly publicized withdrawal blocks make it a high-risk choice that is ultimately unsuitable for the majority of retail market participants.

Editorial Transparency: This GO4REX review is based on information from the official GO4REX website, current regulatory filings, and independent third-party sources such as Trustpilot. We cross-checked the broker's regulation and license details, account types, trading and non-trading fees, deposit and withdrawal terms, platforms, and real user feedback to ensure accuracy and objectivity. This content is for educational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice; trading CFDs carries a high risk of losing money. Last updated: June 2026.

Opening and closing positions both result in slippage. When I contacted customer service, they just said it was normal market fluctuation. This has happened multiple times, and I'm planning to switch platforms.

I opened an account with Go4Rex in January 2021 and was assigned an advisor who continuously pushed for higher deposits, gave misleading investment advice, and manipulated my trading activity. Despite being a beginner, I was guided into high-risk positions and pressured to deposit funds under the pretext of recovering losses or unlocking bonuses. Repeated attempts to withdraw funds were met with conditions that required further deposits. When I refused, positions were closed without notice, bonuses were revoked, and communication became evasive. The final blow came when the platform was blocked, and all communication ceased. Go4Rex, operated by FX Capital Ltd in Seychelles, acted without regard for regulatory standards, interfered in my decision-making, and misled me repeatedly, causing a total loss of almost $60,000.

I'm trading with traders for a few years, I have a very good experience until now and I hope to stay with them for a long time. Although in the beginning I had some big loses, I know it wasn't their fault, when you trade you have to know what you are doing. Now I can making very nice profits. The only two things I’d suggest them to fix is: 1)you should be able to contact them by phone easier and 2) faster withdrawals.
