    GatesFX claims to regulated by the International Financial Centre (IFC) of St. Lucia. While we confirm that a matching company, GatesFX Ltd., exists in the registry of St. Lucia IFC, it is important to note that this only means International Business Company (IBC) registration. It does not constitute a valid financial license. The St. Lucia IFC has clearly stated that it does not regulate or license forex brokers. Besides, GatesFX is unlicensed by any recognized financial authority. Therefore, GatesFX shows significant potential of being fraudulent operation.

ANSWER Dear Investor, GatesFX is not a regulated broker and does not hold a valid financial license from any recognized authority. While GatesFX claims to be regulated by the Saint Lucia International Financial Centre (IFC), however, this statement reveals a critical misunderstanding. Although a company named GatesFX Ltd. is indeed registered with the St. Lucia IFC, this only indicates registration as an International Business Company (IBC). Such registration does not equate to regulatory oversight or authorization to operate as a forex broker. In fact, the St. Lucia IFC has publicly stated that it does not license or regulate foreign exchange brokers. This means GatesFX has no legitimate regulatory supervision whatsoever. Operating without proper licensing from a reputable financial authority is a serious red flag and significantly increases the risk of fraud. We strongly advise you to avoid engaging with GatesFX and to protect your funds by choosing only properly regulated brokers.
