1. GBP/USD Analysis:

News Summary:

This week, the bond market has become the focus, with yields on several long-term bonds hitting multi-decade highs. A fund manager said this presents a once-in-a-generation opportunity for UK gilts. The yield on the UK’s 30-year government bond reached 5.723% this week, the highest since 1998, while the 10-year gilt yield rose to 4.835%, the highest level since the beginning of this year.

Trend Analysis:

On the H4 chart, GBP/USD rebounded slightly and is trading near the 48 hours moving average. In addition, the MACD double line and histogram bar are expanding below the zero axis. The buy limit could be employed, stop loss is necessary.

2. Crude Oil Analysis:

News Summary:

Due to the unexpected increase in U.S. crude oil inventories, concerns have risen over cooling fuel demand, leading to a downward trend in crude oil prices this week, which has also put pressure on oil prices. The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its allies will hold a meeting at the end of this week. Member states are considering approving further production increases, after the alliance already boosted production by about 2.2 million barrels per day in 2025. Any additional output hike would mark a further rollback of OPEC’s deep production cuts over the past two years.

Trend Analysis:

We can see crude oil prices have shown a choppy pullback and are trading below the 48 hours moving average on H4 chart. On the other hand, the MACD double line and energy bar are expanding around the zero axis. The buy limit could be set, stop loss is compulsory.
