  • Supports MetaTrader 5 alongside a proprietary mobile app, providing access to advanced charting tools and custom order types to offer excellent flexibility for both desktop and mobile traders.

  • Low minimum deposit requirement of only $30 for Standard accounts, which feature commission-free trading, allowing retail beginners to start investing with minimal upfront capital.
Cons
  • Listed on the Monetary Authority of Singapore's (MAS) Investor Alert List, due to operating without proper licensing in the region, posing substantial legal and fund safety risks for international clients.
  • High minimum deposit requirement of $3,000 for the Zero account, restricting access to competitive raw spreads only to well-capitalized or professional traders.
  • Frequent customer complaints regarding severe withdrawal delays and blocked accounts, raising significant red flags about the broker's operational transparency and overall reliability.
DCFX Review Overview

In our DCFX review, we analyze the broker’s regulatory standing, trading fees, and platform features to help you decide if it fits your trading needs. By examining both its strengths and limitations, we aim to answer the core question: is DCFX a good broker?

Is DCFX Legit and Safe?

DCFX is regulated by multiple reputable financial authorities including the FCA and MAS, though investor protections vary by regional entity.

DCFX review

What Is DCFX? Company Background

Originally established through a network of regional brokerages and tracing its roots to structural entities like KVB Kunlun and PT Deu Calion Futures, DCFX has evolved into a prominent multi-regulated brokerage brand. Over the years, the parent organization has undergone restructuring to consolidate its global footprint under a unified regulatory framework. This strategic transformation culminated with a global rebranding effort, pivoting major parts of the group to the Dupoin brand name [1, 2]. Specifically, PT Deu Calion Futures officially transitioned to PT Dupoin Futures Indonesia [1], while DCFX Prime Pte. Ltd. became Dupoin Singapore Pte. Ltd. [2] Today, the consolidated broker offers online retail and institutional trading services, providing access to CFDs across forex, stock indices, precious metals, and commodities through proprietary apps and MetaTrader platforms.

DCFX Regulation

DCFX is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and the Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency [3, 4, 5]. These supervisory agencies represent top-tier and highly respected financial authorities globally. You can verify the broker's active regulatory status on the FCA official register by searching license number 622574 [3]. Furthermore, you can look up the MAS official directory to independently verify the capital markets services license under number CMS101227 [4].

The following comparison table details each regulatory entity's license number, tier, and specific investor protection measures:

Entity NameRegulatorLicense NumberRegulatory TierInvestor Protection
Dupoin UK Ltd (formerly DCFX Europe)Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)622574Tier 1Segregated funds, FSCS protection up to £85,000, negative balance protection [3]
Dupoin Singapore Pte. Ltd. (formerly DCFX Prime)Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)CMS101227Tier 1Segregated funds, strict local asset protection, capital adequacy requirements [4]
PT Dupoin Futures Indonesia (formerly PT Deu Calion Futures)Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (BAPPEBTI)423/BAPPEBTI/SI/VII/2004Tier 2 (Local)Segregated accounts held in custody of state clearinghouses [1, 5]

While clients registered under European and Singaporean subsidiaries benefit from elite structural protections, those under the Indonesian branch rely entirely on domestic exchange protections.

Which DCFX Entity Serves Your Region?

The regulatory entity that manages a client's account depends entirely on their geographic location, leading to distinct onboarding pathways and structural investor protections.

  • European Union and UK Clients: Traders registering from these regions are onboarded under Dupoin UK Ltd (regulated by the FCA), which provides the most robust regulatory framework including negative balance protection [3].
  • Singapore and APAC Clients: Clients seeking secure retail or institutional services in Singapore register under Dupoin Singapore Pte. Ltd., which is regulated by MAS and strictly monitored under local asset segregation rules [4].
  • Indonesian Clients: Traders based in Indonesia register under PT Dupoin Futures Indonesia, which requires a localized verification process overseen by domestic regulators like BAPPEBTI [1, 5].
  • Offshore and Global Clients: In regions where the broker does not hold a direct local tier-1 license, clients are often served under offshore subsidiaries or unregulated branches (historically associated with KVB Prime Limited in Samoa). While this pathway allows clients to access higher leverage, such as 1:1000, it lacks robust oversight, segregated fund guarantees, or retail compensation schemes.

Restricted Countries

Due to local legal restrictions and strict international compliance standards, the broker does not offer its services to residents of certain jurisdictions. Unsupported countries include the United States, Canada, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Sudan, and several other regions where local regulatory regimes prohibit offshore retail derivative trading. Prospective users are strongly advised to check with local regulatory limits before attempting to register an account.

Client Fund Protection

The safety of client funds is managed through varied structural mechanisms depending on the regulatory entity overseeing the account. For UK and European clients, funds are strictly held in segregated accounts at reputable, tier-1 custodian banks, completely separate from the broker's operational capital. In the unlikely event of insolvency, these clients are protected by the UK's Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) up to £85,000 [3].

For clients trading under PT Dupoin Futures Indonesia, BAPPEBTI regulations mandate that 70% of client funds be held in segregated clearing accounts managed by the state-run Indonesian Derivatives Clearing House (KBI). This local clearing framework adds a layer of structural transparency, ensuring funds are not misused for corporate activities. However, it is important to note that negative balance protection is primarily guaranteed under the FCA-regulated entity, meaning global clients trading under offshore structures or regional licenses must monitor their margins closely to avoid catastrophic losses during extreme market volatility.

DCFX User Reviews and Trustpilot Rating

DCFX holds a Trustpilot rating of 2.7/5 based on approximately 62 reviews, reflecting mixed and increasingly cautious user sentiment as of July 2026. Because the broker has consolidated its operations and rebranded several regional branches under the Dupoin name [1, 2], these public ratings reflect a transition period where users are adjusting to updated corporate structures and domain changes. Prospective clients are encouraged to see DCFX reviews on Trustpilot to track ongoing updates and read individual accounts directly.

While public feedback is divided, positive reviews from satisfied traders frequently highlight the following advantages:

  • Sleek Proprietary Mobile App: Users consistently praise the broker's custom trading app, noting that its clean, intuitive layout successfully combines market analysis, copy trading, and account management in one place.
  • Helpful Swap-Free Conditions: Casual retail traders, particularly in Southeast Asia, appreciate the swap-free account options and welcome credit bonuses, which greatly reduce the overhead costs of holding trades overnight.
  • Broad Asset Selection: Reviewers frequently value having direct access to over 70 financial instruments, allowing them to diversify their portfolios across forex, indices, metals, and stock CFDs.

In contrast, critical reviews and user complaints on the platform point to several persistent issues:

  • Withdrawal Delays: The most prominent complaint involves unexpected delays in processing withdrawal requests, with several users reporting that payouts took longer than the advertised timeline or required excessive compliance documentation.
  • Execution Slippage and Spreads: Active traders complain about experiencing heavy slippage and sudden, drastic widening of spreads during volatile news events, which can trigger stop-loss orders prematurely.
  • Inconsistent Support Responses: Some clients express frustration with the customer service department, citing repetitive, copy-pasted responses and slow resolution times when dealing with technical account issues.

DCFX Account Types

DCFX offers a tiered account structure consisting of Standard and Zero accounts, catering to both casual retail traders and high-volume professionals through regional leverage options up to 1:1000.

DCFX Account Types and Minimum Deposit Requirements

The account options provided by DCFX are structured to accommodate different trading volumes and strategy preferences, dividing services between spread-based retail trading and raw-spread premium trading. Because the broker operates across multiple jurisdictions with differing regulatory mandates, both trading costs and leverage limits vary significantly based on where your account is registered.

For the majority of casual retail traders, the Standard Account is the primary option. It features a highly accessible entry barrier, requiring a minimum deposit of only $30 under global and offshore entities. However, for traders registering under the Indonesian BAPPEBTI-regulated entity, the minimum deposit increases to $200 in compliance with strict local regulatory guidelines [1]. In practice, this account operates on a commission-free pricing model for major assets like forex, commodities, and stock indices, with trading costs bundled into a variable spread that starts from 1.2 pips. For stock and cryptocurrency CFDs, a localized trading fee of 0.4% per lot is applied. Leverage is capped at 1:30 for UK and European clients under FCA mandates, restricted to 1:100 for Indonesian accounts, and goes up to 1:1000 for clients under offshore entities. This structure is highly suited for beginners who prefer predictable pricing and wish to start with smaller capital.

Conversely, the Zero Account targets experienced, high-volume traders who prioritize ultra-low spreads. To activate this account, the broker requires a steep premium minimum deposit of $3,000 (which can reach up to $5,000 depending on regional promotions and regulatory guidelines). In exchange for this significant financial commitment, traders gain access to raw spreads that start from 0.0 pips. Instead of widening the spread, the broker charges a flat commission fee of $7 per round-turn lot for forex and metals, and $1 per lot for stock indices. For stock and cryptocurrency CFDs, the commission remains at 0.4% per lot. This commission-and-raw-spread setup is highly advantageous for day traders, scalpers, and those running algorithmic systems (Expert Advisors), as tight spreads reduce the friction of frequent entry and exit.

Does DCFX Offer an Islamic Account?

DCFX offers swap-free account options for Islamic traders, enabling clients of the Muslim faith to participate in forex and CFD markets without violating Sharia law. These interest-free accounts can be requested directly through customer support or activated within the proprietary mobile app, eliminating overnight swap charges on major currency pairs and commodities. It is worth noting, however, that swap-free status may not apply to exotic asset classes and is subject to administrative review to prevent trading abuse.

DCFX Fees and Trading Costs

DCFX features mid-range trading costs by offering commission-free trading with spreads starting at 1.2 pips on Standard accounts, while charging a competitive $7 per-lot commission on raw-spread Zero accounts.

DCFX Trading Fees (Spreads / Commission Fees / Swap and Overnight Fees)

The direct costs of executing trades with DCFX depend largely on your chosen account type and the specific market you are trading. This broker uses a dual-pricing model that divides trading conditions into commission-free spread markup accounts and flat-commission raw spread accounts, matching standard retail broker practices.

  • Spreads and Commissions (Standard Account): Under the Standard Account, traders do not pay any direct ticket commissions when trading forex pairs, precious metals, or stock indices. Instead, the broker's compensation is built into the spread, which starts at a variable rate of 1.2 pips for major pairs like EUR/USD. For stock and cryptocurrency CFDs, however, a localized commission fee of 0.4% per lot is applied.
  • Spreads and Commissions (Zero Account): Designed for active and professional traders, the Zero Account offers raw spreads starting from 0.0 pips. In exchange for these razor-thin spreads, the broker charges a flat commission of $7 per round-turn lot (which equates to $3.50 per side) for major currency pairs and precious metals, alongside a $1 commission per lot for stock indices. Stock and cryptocurrency CFD commissions remain at 0.4% per lot.
  • Swap and Overnight Fees: Positions held open past the daily market close of 5:00 PM EST (New York time) are subject to swap fees, which represent the overnight interest cost of carrying a leveraged position. These swaps are determined by the interbank interest rate differential between the currencies traded, combined with a broker administrative markup. It is important to note that a triple-swap fee is charged on Wednesdays (for forex and metals) or Fridays (for indices and CFDs) to account for the settlement of weekend positions. Islamic accounts are exempt from these charges on major instruments.

DCFX Non-Trading Fees (Inactivity Fees / Currency Conversion Fees)

In addition to direct execution costs, traders should be aware of the non-trading fees that can impact their overall account balance over time. While the broker does not charge hidden account maintenance fees, specific transactional and administrative conditions still apply.

  • Inactivity Fees: Unlike many competitors that charge a monthly penalty fee of $10 or $20 for dormant accounts, DCFX does not impose a regular inactivity fee. Instead, the broker maintains an automatic archival policy: accounts that remain inactive for 90 consecutive days with an equity balance of $1 or below are automatically closed or archived. This allows traders to step away from the market without worrying about ongoing penalties draining their balances, although reactivation might require reaching out to customer support.
  • Currency Conversion Fees: When funding an account, withdrawing capital, or trading assets denominated in a currency other than the account's base currency (typically USD, EUR, GBP, or IDR), a currency conversion fee applies. This conversion fee is typically embedded in the exchange rate provided at the transaction time, with markups ranging from 0.5% to 3.0% depending on the liquidity of the involved currency pair.

DCFX Deposits & Withdrawals

DCFX provides an accessible funding framework supporting wire transfers, major credit cards, and localized payment gateways, though withdrawal times can vary significantly depending on the regional entity and local banking holidays.

  • Deposit and Withdrawal Methods: Traders can fund their accounts using several secure channels, including international bank wire transfers, major credit and debit cards (such as Visa and MasterCard), and region-specific local bank transfers. For Southeast Asian clients, localized payment gateways, including domestic virtual bank accounts (VA), are highly integrated to allow seamless instant funding.
  • Withdrawal Speed and Minimum Limits: Deposit transactions via credit cards or local payment portals are typically processed instantly, while international wire transfers require 2 to 5 business days to clear. For withdrawals, the processing timeline generally spans 24 to 48 business days for local bank transfers and e-wallets, while international bank wires can take between 3 to 7 business days. The minimum withdrawal limit is set at a low threshold of $10 to $50 depending on the payment method used, while the minimum initial deposit starts at $30 globally.
  • Deposit and Withdrawal Fees: Deposits are generally free of charge on the broker's side, though credit card processors or local banks may apply transaction fees. Standard withdrawals are also advertised as free, but clients should expect international wire transfers to incur standard intermediary bank fees ranging from $20 to $50 per transaction.
  • Withdrawal Issues and User Complaints: While many clients experience smooth transactions, real-user reports, including those on independent review portals like Trustpilot, document instances of withdrawal friction. Common user complaints highlight delays where funds are held up for several days or weeks during compliance checks or identity verification procedures. The broker frequently attributes these administrative delays to stringent anti-money laundering (AML) protocols, localized bank clearing partner updates, or incomplete KYC documentation from the client. To minimize the risk of withdrawal hold-ups, traders are strongly advised to complete their full account verification immediately after registration.

DCFX Trading Platforms, Conditions & Experience

DCFX delivers an execution-driven trading environment by offering MetaTrader 5 alongside its proprietary mobile app, though regional leverage and platform features are strictly dictated by local licensing.

Does DCFX Support MT4, MT5 & Mobile Trading?

DCFX supports MetaTrader 5 and its custom-built mobile trading application, while completely omitting the older MetaTrader 4 platform from its offering. This deliberate platform strategy aligns with modern broker transitions, guiding users toward modern multi-asset trading interfaces rather than relying on legacy software.

The platform architecture consists of the following components:

  • MetaTrader 5 (MT5): Available on desktop (Windows and macOS), WebTrader, and mobile, MT5 provides retail traders with advanced charting, over 80 technical indicators, and automated trading capabilities through Expert Advisors (EAs).
  • DCFX Mobile App: Serving as the broker's proprietary all-in-one "Super App," this custom application integrates account creation, instant funding, and portfolio management directly with real-time trading terminals.
  • Copy Trading Integration: Built natively into the proprietary mobile app, this feature allows users to follow and replicate the strategies of experienced, vetted traders in real time.
  • MetaTrader 4 (MT4): This legacy platform is entirely unsupported, meaning clients must adapt to the MT5 workflow or use the broker's custom app.

What Can You Trade on DCFX? (Markets and Instruments)

DCFX provides access to five major asset classes, enabling clients to trade forex pairs, commodities, stock indices, stock CFDs, and cryptocurrencies. By offering over 70 global financial instruments under a single trading account, the broker makes it relatively straightforward for retail traders to diversify their risk across various market sectors.

Traders can access the following instruments:

  • Forex: Major, minor, and select exotic currency pairs.
  • Precious Metals & Commodities: Spot gold, silver, and WTI crude oil.
  • Stock Indices: Key global indices like the S&P 500, Dow Jones, Nasdaq, and DAX.
  • Stock CFDs: Highly liquid blue-chip international equities including Tesla, Apple, and Amazon.
  • Cryptocurrencies: Major digital assets traded as CFDs, including Bitcoin and Ethereum.

DCFX Leverage, Margin & Order Execution

DCFX executes trades using an STP market model, offering flexible leverage limits up to 1:1000 that vary based on regional regulatory limits. Understanding these parameters is vital for managing risk, as the structural margin requirements change depending on the regulatory entity overseeing your trading account.

  • Straight-Through Processing (STP): Orders are routed directly to institutional liquidity providers without dealer intervention, ensuring competitive market pricing and minimizing conflict-of-interest concerns.
  • Tiered Leverage Limits: Retail accounts under offshore entities can access leverage up to 1:1000, while Indonesian BAPPEBTI accounts are capped at 1:100 [5], and UK accounts under the FCA are legally limited to 1:30 [3].
  • Margin Call Level: Set at a standard 100%, meaning the system will flag your account when your margin level drops below this threshold to prevent unmanaged exposure.
  • Stop Out Level: Set at 20%, which triggers the automatic liquidation of open positions starting from the most unprofitable to protect the account from falling into a negative balance.

DCFX Research Tools & Educational Resources

DCFX offers a decent suite of research tools and educational materials under its Academy brand, though advanced analytical tools are somewhat limited. The broker focuses heavily on video-based learning and live market sessions, which are integrated directly into its mobile platform to assist developing traders.

Educational and research resources include:

  • DCFX Academy and DC Course: Structured educational channels that offer webinars, starter packs, and localized videos explaining complex topics like margin, hedging, and leverage.
  • Live Webinars and Strategy Guides: Regular interactive broadcasts led by chief market analysts that cover practical technical setup strategies, such as combining Stochastic Oscillators with Support and Resistance levels.
  • Technical Trading Signals: Daily market signals provided directly inside the mobile app, providing users with specific entry, take-profit, and stop-loss targets for popular currency pairs.
  • Economic Calendar: A real-time tracking tool built into both the MT5 terminal and the proprietary app that flags high-impact global macroeconomic releases and interest rate updates.

How Good Is DCFX Customer Support?

DCFX delivers multilingual customer support available 24/5 via live chat, email, and local phone lines, though response times during peak hours can be inconsistent. The quality of assistance is generally localized, meaning that traders in primary regional hubs like Singapore and Jakarta receive more direct, specialized support channels compared to general global clients [2, 5].

  • Support Availability: The support desk operates 24 hours a day, 5 days a week (Monday through Friday), keeping pace with the standard global financial market trading hours.
  • Communication Channels: Clients can reach support via integrated Live Chat on the website or mobile app, direct email at cs@dcfx.com, or localized phone support in regional offices.
  • Multilingual Options: Assistance is primarily available in English, Indonesian, and Malay, ensuring smooth communication for Southeast Asian and international traders.
  • Support Responsiveness: While Live Chat sessions are usually connected within a few minutes, email ticketing and complex account verification issues can sometimes take 24 to 48 hours to resolve.

Who Is DCFX Best For?

DCFX is highly suitable for mobile-focused copy traders and beginners, but aggressive scalpers may find its premium raw-spread account barrier too high.

Is DCFX Good for Copy Traders?

DCFX is highly suitable for copy traders who want to replicate experienced strategies directly within a unified mobile interface. Because the broker integrates social trading natively into its proprietary mobile application, users do not need to configure third-party platforms or manage complex API bridges. This seamless ecosystem allows retail investors to easily browse performance statistics, review historical drawdowns, and allocate capital to professional signal providers with a few taps. It provides an efficient and passive path to the markets, making it an excellent match for traders who prefer mobile-first social trading over manual chart analysis.

Is DCFX Good for Beginners?

DCFX represents a solid option for beginner traders due to its low entry barrier on Standard accounts and structured educational academy. The $30 global minimum deposit allows novices to transition from demo environments to live market execution without committing significant capital. New traders can also leverage the extensive learning materials within the DCFX Academy, which provides well-paced video courses that demystify complex concepts such as leverage and margin. Additionally, the commission-free structure of the Standard account simplifies cost tracking, letting beginners focus entirely on mastering trade entry, risk management, and market psychology.

Is DCFX Good for Scalpers?

DCFX is not ideal for high-frequency scalpers due to the steep minimum deposit required for its Zero account and reports of execution slippage. While the broker does offer raw spreads from 0.0 pips on its Zero account, the $3,000 premium entry threshold represents a significant capital barrier compared to competitors that offer raw-spread accounts for a fraction of that cost. Furthermore, multiple user reviews cite spread widening and trade execution latency during high-impact news releases. For traders whose profitability relies on capture of minor price movements with rapid entry and exit precision, these platform conditions and high account requirements are major drawbacks.

Best for: Mobile copy traders, beginners seeking low deposit requirements, and regional Southeast Asian traders.
Less ideal for: Professional high-frequency scalpers and algorithmic traders requiring low-deposit raw-spread accounts.

Compare DCFX with Other Popular Brokers

DCFX holds a competitive edge in Southeast Asia through its multi-regulated framework and localized mobile app, but its premium trading costs and limited account types lag behind leading global brokerages.

DCFX vs HSB

The primary difference between DCFX and HSB is their account structure, as DCFX provides a choice between spread-based and commission-based accounts, whereas HSB uses a single standardized retail account model.

Both brokers are regulated by Indonesia's BAPPEBTI and cater heavily to Southeast Asian clients [1, 5]. However, DCFX allows global retail registration under its tier-1 FCA and MAS regulations, offering far wider geographic licensing [3, 4]. Regarding initial deposit barriers, DCFX is highly accessible for global users at $30; on the other hand, HSB requires a fixed $100 minimum deposit across all clients. While DCFX's Standard spreads start from 1.2 pips, HSB features a wider average spread starting around 1.4 pips.

Takeaway: DCFX is the better choice for raw-spread trading; HSB suits domestic Southeast Asian retail traders who prefer a single, simplified account environment.

DCFX vs Exness

The defining contrast between DCFX and Exness is their pricing efficiency and leverage availability, as Exness offers significantly tighter spreads and unlimited leverage options without the steep capital requirements imposed by DCFX.

While DCFX requires a massive $3,000 initial deposit to access its raw spreads starting at 0.0 pips, Exness provides raw-spread accounts from just $200. Furthermore, standard retail accounts with Exness start at a $1 minimum deposit, rendering it far more accessible than DCFX's $30 to $200 barriers. In terms of regulatory security, DCFX offers more localized oversight through MAS in Singapore and BAPPEBTI in Indonesia; by contrast, Exness operates primarily under European, African, and offshore licenses [4, 5]. Exness also supports the older MetaTrader 4 platform, whereas DCFX restricts its users to MetaTrader 5 and its proprietary mobile app.

Takeaway: DCFX is the better choice for local regional regulatory security in Asia; Exness suits active day traders seeking low fees and maximum leverage.

DCFX vs XM

The major difference between DCFX and XM centers on promotional incentives and platform options, with XM offering a much broader array of trading tools, micro-accounts, and continuous loyalty programs.

To accommodate micro-lot traders, XM provides a specialized Micro Account that allows trading in fractionally smaller volumes. This is a tier that DCFX completely lacks, since its standard execution starts at a minimum of 0.01 standard lots. Additionally, XM's minimum deposit sits at a highly competitive $5, which is lower than DCFX's $30 starting requirement. In terms of execution models, XM employs a strict no-requotes market execution policy; on the other hand, DCFX relies on a standard STP routing system that can experience execution slippage during high-impact news.

Takeaway: DCFX is the better choice for premium traders utilizing MT5; XM suits budget-conscious beginners who want micro-account flexibility.

DCFX Broker Quick Verdict

DCFX is a solid choice for Southeast Asian retail and copy traders who value strong regional regulations and an intuitive mobile app, though its high premium deposit requirements may deter active scalpers. Ultimately, this DCFX review highlights that the broker's excellent localized oversight represents a major trust factor, even if its trading costs remain in the mid-range.

Editorial Transparency: This DCFX review is based on information from the official DCFX website, current regulatory filings, and independent third-party sources such as Trustpilot. We cross-checked the broker's regulation and license details, account types, trading and non-trading fees, deposit and withdrawal terms, platforms, and real user feedback to ensure accuracy and objectivity. This content is for educational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice; trading CFDs carries a high risk of losing money. Last updated: July 2026.
