Moreover, iQuoto’s current website does not disclose any alternative regulatory oversight, despite continuing to operate from the UK. This means that iQuoto is now operating without FCA supervision, and client funds are no longer protected under the UK’s FCA regulatory safeguards. Our previous investigation indicated that Switch Markets operated as an Authorized Representative (AR) of Royal Financial Trading Pty Ltd under Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). However, ASIC now shows that this AR appointment has a status of “ceased”, raising serious concerns about the platform’s current regulatory standing. Switch Markets now claims to remain part of the corporate group under Royal CM Ltd, which reportedly holds licenses from the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC) and the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). While these principal licenses do appear valid, neither VFSC nor CySEC lists Switch Markets or its operating entity as a formally authorized subsidiary or brand under those licenses. ANSWER Alfa Financials is not regulated by any financial authorities and should be avoided at all events. Alfa Financials claims to be the trading name of Ala Financials (PTY) LTD which is regulated by the South African Financial Services Board (FSB License No. 45695). But the regulator that approves licenses for brokers in South Africa is the Financial Services Conduct Authority (FSCA) rather than FSB. We checked on FSCA and found the company is in its register. However, the regulatory status is abnormal and the official regulatory status is lapsed. So Alfa Financials is not regulated or overseen by any financial regulator. That means investors' funds in this broker are unsafe and cannot be protected by any laws. Therefore, it is a scam.We would recommend you to stay away from Alfa Financials and any other unregulated brokers, since they are not subject to necessary laws and principles of operation, resulting in a high risk to trade with them.

ANSWER JP Markets is owned and operated by JP Markets SA (Pty) Ltd, a South Africa-based company once licensed and regulated by the Financial Services Conduct Authority (FSCA) under FSP No. 46855. Nevertheless, the regulatory status of this broker is currently abnormal as FSCA has provisionally suspended its license in accordance with section 11(1)(b). For more details about this broker, you can check our full JP Markets review. In terms of the validity of JP Markets, we argue that it is not proper to define it as a fraud, since this broker had run business in South Africa under regulation before the license was suspended and has been seeking for a chance to re-gain its license. Most importantly, FSCA said it would again look at JP Markets' license application, which means the broker would be quantified to deliver financial investment services once being approved. Overall, it is of certain risk to trade with JP Markets, and we would recommend to choose properly regulated brokers.
