I opened an account with Equiti Brokerage (Seychelles) Limited, which is regulated by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA) under licence SD064. My account number is 1013719018.
All of my XAUUSD (Gold) trades were manually executed. I opened both long and short positions based on normal market conditions and did not use any EA, arbitrage strategy, exploit, or other prohibited trading methods. Every order represented genuine participation in market movements, and my account also incurred multiple genuine trading losses.
After my account generated profits, Equiti unilaterally determined that I had engaged in “abnormal or improper trading practices” and directly withheld a total of USD 1,916.76 in trading profits from my account.
I believe this treatment is fundamentally unfair and one-sided: all trading losses are borne by me personally, while any profits generated are simply confiscated by Equiti. Equiti has only provided a general allegation of a violation and has refused to provide substantive evidence identifying which specific orders allegedly breached its terms and conditions.
I have already submitted a formal complaint by email to Equiti’s compliance department, requesting the return of the withheld profits and a written explanation detailing the basis and calculation of the deduction. However, I have not yet received a fair or satisfactory resolution.
