OnePrime Appoints Industry Veteran Mark Glover as Financial Controller

Nov 14, 2025 BrokersView

OnePrime, the liquidity and technology provider under the OneRoyal Group, has named Mark Glover as its new Financial Controller, continuing the firm's series of senior-level appointments this year. The move follows the earlier promotion of Katalina Pantea to Head of Compliance, signaling the company's ongoing effort to strengthen its operational framework.

Glover's career spans major financial institutions and fintech firms, with experience in derivatives, product control, and financial reporting. He began his professional journey with Deloitte South Africa before relocating to London in the early 2000s, a period he described as "transformative and exhilarating." His subsequent roles at banks and brokers deepened his exposure to fast-paced trading environments and shaped his long-term interest in financial markets.

His later positions took him to Melbourne, where he held senior roles at Rabobank and Deutsche Bank, specializing in FX and derivatives control. Reflecting on the intensity of day-to-day operations, Glover noted that the work taught him to "learn fast — especially when an angry trader is waiting for a report."

After more than a decade in institutional banking, Glover transitioned to fintech, joining Axitrader and later Invast Global (now 26 Degrees). These roles expanded his understanding of trading technology, AFSL compliance, and the rapid operational cycles typical of fintech firms.

Before joining OnePrime, he served as Head of Finance at the ASX-listed Thorn Group Limited, where he oversaw ledger systems, debtor financing, and regulatory compliance across both ASX and APRA frameworks.

Glover said he is joining OnePrime at a pivotal period in its development. "With so many promising initiatives in motion, I'm excited to work alongside a strong team to build a robust foundation that enables the company to scale effortlessly," he commented.

Jerry Khargi, Executive Director at OnePrime, described the appointment as a strategic reinforcement of the firm's finance function, particularly as the company expands its presence in Australia.
