The Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) has issued a public warning against Aragon Trade, an unauthorised forex broker operating via aragontrade.net.
Aragon Trade is falsely claiming to trade from 28 Esplanade, St. Helier, Jersey, JE2 3QA—the genuine registered office of JTC (Jersey) Limited. The JFSC confirms that Aragon Trade, its website, and its email (admin@aragontrade.net) are not associated with JTC (Jersey) Limited in any way.
According to the JFSC, Aragon Trade has never been registered, nor applied for registration, under the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998 (FS(J)L). Therefore, any investment business carried on by the scam entity is a contravention of Article 7 of the FS(J)L.
The JFSC also states that Aragon Trade’s website and email address show clear fraudulent warning signs and appear to be a scam.
